Sewing has always been on my bucket list so when I ran across hair bows on Pinterest, I had to try them.
I then became a little more brave and decided to embellish a top with yoyo's. I also made a hair bow and a bracelet to match. They are not perfect but I do think they came out very cute. (I didn't realize the top was so wrinkled. Sorry about that.)

Jewelry
I thought I would try my hand at jewelry as well so here are a few necklaces and bracelets I made for my dd.
The necklace medallions were made from washers and decorative paper.
I learned this technique here: http://www.things-to-make-and-do.co.uk/other-stuff/washer-necklaces/washer-necklaces.html
Here are a couple of beaded bracelets I made. I learned this technique here: https://diannefaw.wordpress.com/2012/08/12/beaded-braid-bracelet/

Hand Made Cards
I am starting my crafting journey again after abandoning that journey to have and raise two small children. They are not so small anymore and my daughter has decided that she would like to start crafting a bit herself. She has helped spur that creative side of me again and I have begun to craft once more. I don't consider myself to be great at it but I do enjoy it.
I decided to share some of the things she and I create as we travel this journey together. So, here we go.
Here are some Valentine's cards and hair bows Roo decided to make for a few of her friends.
Here is another Valentine's themed card:
The next three are birthday, Christmas and anniversary cards.
These cards were for my son's baby shower over 14 years ago.
My ds made the target card with my help.
This was my card to my husband.
The next cards were some easy cards I made to show my dd how simple cards are also pretty.
These are wedding cards.
Here are a couple of close ups of the wedding cards.
The next two cards I made using primarily a leaf punch. I used the leaf punch to make the bee, tulips and, of course the leaves on the Thinking of You card. The Happy Birthday card was made using the leaf punch, a swirl punch and a foam hexagon stamp I made myself.
Here is a fun Happy Birthday Frog card embellished with a tiny frog punch.
Here I made a simple Mother's Day card.
These two cards were made with a flower punch and jewel embellishments.
I enjoyed making the next three cards with this versatile flower stamp I recently acquired.
This card I made using a doily, heart punch and jewel embellishments. My dd loves this card.

I actually started with my kids' birthday cards:
